WHAT’S HAPPENING?
We encourage our church family to get together outside of worship times. When COVID has passed, our church will offer a range of social, learning, and volunteer events that help strengthen our members as individuals and as a community.
Currently, many of our ministries, including in-person Bible studies and meal ministries, cannot operate due to COVID restrictions. However, the following opportunities are available:
ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS
Sundays & Wednesdays
5pm
Forest United Methodist Church hosts two AA groups. They meet on Sundays & Wednesdays at 5pm in the church fellowship hall.
QUILTERS
Tuesdays
10am
Forest United Methodist hosts a quilting ministry. Many of the quilts made are donated to cancer patients, the homeless, and children at the United Methodist Children's Home. It meets on Tuesdays at 10am in the church fellowship hall.
HELPING HANDS, LOVING HEARTS THRIFT STORE
Fridays
9am
Forest United Methodist Church has a well stocked thrift store with very reasonable prices. All proceeds from the thrift store are used by the church for its ministries. Donations are always welcome. The thrift store is open every Friday at 9am on the church campus.
