For 33 years, Forest United Methodist Church has been a place for people in the Silver Springs, Florida area to come together and worship God as part of a strong, loving community.
We’re committed followers of Jesus Christ who seek to help all people place their faith and trust in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe God’s grace, found in the person of Jesus Christ, leads to a a transformed life. We believe that God is a God of second chances, fresh starts, and new beginnings.
We’re always happy to see you and warmly welcome visitors. We have worship every Sunday at 10:30am with children's church. Please come as you are. We are an inclusive church. All are really welcomed at Forest United Methodist Church.
OUR STORY
Serving the Silver Springs/Ocala National Forest Community
Forest United Methodist Church is a small, diverse congregation of people who love God, who love each other, and who love the community in which we are privileged to serve. We believe in reaching out in mission to our community. Several of our outreach ministries, including Christ's Cafe, a meal ministry, cannot currently meet due to COVID restrictions. We can't wait until we are able to serve our community in this capacity again!
